CanHepC Prairie Roadmap Sharing Circles
Waniska is collaborating with the Canadian Network on Hepatitis C (CanHepC), asking people with lived hepatitis C experience and who would like to improve the healthcare system to participate in sharing circles. The sharing circles will be held in communities across the prairie provinces to develop the CanHepC Prairies Roadmap with the goal to eliminate hepatitis C as a public health threat by 2030.
Please see the poster below for more information. Specific community-focused sharing circles may be distributed to individual communities along with a set date, time and location.
CanHepC Background
The Canadian Network on Hepatitis C (CanHepC) is collaborating with people and organizations from different regions of the country to address and share region-specific and Indigenous-specific progress, wise practices, lessons learned, successes and challenges in Canada to reach the elimination of viral hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030.
Roadmap Background
The main goals of each regional roadmap are identifying recommendations and possible actions that can be used by policy/program makers in the development of a hepatitis C elimination plan and outlining a regional/Indigenous high-level roadmap or framework to guide implementation, including a method for tracking progress on elimination efforts through 2030.
