WIPCVH Workshops

Waniska Indigenous Centre is pleased to partner with the World Indigenous Peoples’ Conference on Viral Hepatitis (WIPCVH) and CATIE to host two workshops affiliated with the WIPCVH conference, which will be held online, June 22-23. There will be a free in person pre-conference workshop on June 22 for community leaders, people with lived experience and other frontline service providers from Canada and other regions who play a role in HCV prevention, testing, treatment and support in their communities and who will engage in the WIPCVH. A second free virtual workshop will be held in the fall of 2022 (TBD). The workshops will be designed with an eye to supporting those involved in recommendation-setting activities, as well as those in Saskatchewan who may go on to deliver peer-based testing programs.

The in-person workshop will take place in Saskatoon on June 22, the day the WIPCVH conference begins. This workshop will be limited to 25 people.
